1st wife Helen Zora Kelly Married 1916 divored 1936 (Barton was 8) 2nd wife Beulah Leona Schoolcraft (1903-1947) married 1947. Barton loved her like his own mother. Beulah made quilts, had cancer. Doris (Bobby Ross sis) died old age. Married 1949 lived in goebo until retirement Moved to St Joe Arkansas. Cattle ranching. health declined moved to springdale arkansas Oct 1978 moved back to Hobart.
Earnest accepted Christ & joined First Baptist church of Gotebo Sept 12, 1954.
Parents: William Baker & Rebecca Honeywell. Died of illness but also had prostate cancer (cancer didnt kill him)
Children: Edwin Earnest (1917-1989) & Barton Winford (1928) Edwin died of illness. Harvey died before gpa Baker was born. He fell out of a swing at school and broke his leg. Got blood poisining.
Brother Walter sister Goldie Gilbert. Him, his parents & Buelah are buried Memorial Park Cemetary, Lat 110 Sec 24 OKC just S of Edmond.
He farmed in Cooperton Area & ran a frieght line between Hobart & Coopterton with horses & wagon in early days. Also drilled water wells & worked in the oil feilds.

Gpa was on the horse next to road. James came up next to him & hit the car to scare the horse. He was a big framed guy a jokster. He drove off laughing & car stalled on the tracks. Train killed them both on Frisco tracks SE corner of Hobart. James was dragged in the wreckage some 200 yards up the track; Gale's body was carried about 100 yards and thrown clear. M: 2-22-1879. Him & Mary came to Kiowa Co Apr 1902 & settles NW cooperton. of 13 children 10 survived. Kids: Nellie, Claud, Bell, Sadie, Florence, Luannie, Harvey, Minnie, Daniel, Helen. Mary Ellen died 1922 William & Leonard died in infancy.

Christopher moved with his family to Sullivan County TN between 1788 and 1795 where the family lived in Eaton Ridge area until 1812 when Christopher, his wife, Catherine Yeast (Married about 1804 in TN) and children, In 1812, probably during the spring or summer, the family settled in Mercer Co. KY near the Cornishville area. By 1836 Christopher did owned a farm. Christopher died between January and April 1836 in Mercer County, KY where the family owned a small farm located near Cornishville, KY. Inventory of the his estate was taken in April 1836. His place of burial is unknown at this time. Christopher had the following siblings: Jacob, b. abt. 1775-died in the fall of 1814 from disease, Spanish Flu, in Richmond, VA, during the War of 1812, James Lewis Peavler SR. (b. 1777-died after 1854 in KY or Missouri, He was a soldier during the War of 1812. Daughter, Elizabeth, b. 1784-1785,d. aft 1860 census, living in 1860 in Mercer County, KY with her husband, John Leonard Yeast, David Peavler, b. 1788-1790 in VA or TN, moved to another state between 1820-1830 census. David was living in 1820 in Mercer County, KY., Barbara (b. 1791 in TN, d.March 1864 in Cumberland Co. IL, md. James Elder. She was listed in Clark County, Indiana census in 1820 and Joseph Peevler b. abt 1795 in TN, died after 1870 census in Fountain Co. IN.
